as we all know, walmart is the largest groceries store in the world..
from textbooks, i was told that their winning formula is to buy in HUGE QUANTITY
thus cheaper products..
i also know that the company is earning billions of dollar pass few years..
the Walton family is worth 60+ billion combined..
and u would probably be eager to work in Walmart
anticipation of good job with good pay and benefits..
well the pretty picture stops here..
from the documentary, it appears that walmart employees are paid poorly
even full timers are paid hourly rates..
though there are benefits for employees,
the procedure of obtaining them is tedious..
also walmart had factories at CHINA to produce toys, garments etc..
the factory worker earn $3 for ten hours work,
terrible dormitary living conditions..
Walmart is destroying family businesses that exists for many years..
while creating jobs (poor paying) they also destroyed family businesses
since family businesses, the middle aged are jobless..
I had a good impression of walmart initially
but it has all changed..
the apparent problem of corruption and abuse of power
the rich gets richer..
